Kinko’s Founder to Speak: Paul Orfalea, founder and chairman of Kinko’s, will speak at the Nov. 14 meeting of the L.A. Venture Assn. The first Kinko’s was so small, the copy machine had to be wheeled out onto the sidewalk. Today, the company has 800 locations in the United States, Canada, Japan and the Netherlands. The event begins at 7:30 a.m. and includes breakfast. The fee is $25 for association members and $40 for non-members.
