In Brief
* * Tim McGraw, “All I Want,” Curb. Whew! Fortunately, there’s nothing here as lamebrained as “Indian Outlaw” from his multimillion-selling “Not a Moment Too Soon” album. In this follow-up, McGraw does best with sketches about denial in the face of lost love and avoidance of painful memories. He never displays a real understanding of such emotions, but at least he recognizes them.
Albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor), two stars (fair), three stars (good) and four stars (e x cellent).
