WESTLAKE : March, Rally to Kick Off Anti-Crime Night
A community march and rally Tuesday evening will kick off this year’s National Night Out on Crime, the city’s second annual celebration in honor of anti-crime efforts.
Area residents will gather in MacArthur Park at Alvarado and 7th streets, before heading out at 5:30 p.m. to the Police Department’s Rampart Community Police Station at 2710 W. Temple St.
From 7 to 10 p.m., there will be music, food and entertainment in front of the station. Temple Street will be closed to traffic.
