Senator’s Aide Hurt by Bomb Sent to His Home

WASHINGTON — An aide to Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) received minor injuries from a package bomb sent to his apartment, police said.
The bomb was sent to William Smith, 25, who suffered cuts on his arms when he opened the two-foot-square parcel Friday night, police said Saturday.
