Sanwa Bank Names Senior V.P. of Renamed Department
Sanwa Bank California has appointed Donald J. Robinson senior vice president and manager of the bank’s newly renamed Financial Institutions Department. The department was formerly known as Correspondent Banking. Robinson, 52, was previously a senior vice president at First Interstate Bank. Sanwa Bank California, a subsidiary of Sanwa Bank Ltd. of Japan, is California’s fifth-largest bank.
* Right Associates announced the promotions of Gary L. Saenger to executive vice president of the Southwest United States from managing principal of Southern California, and Bradford H. Taft to senior vice president and managing director of the West Los Angeles and Torrance offices from managing director of the Torrance office. The Philadelphia-based firm, with offices in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, provides organizational development and career transition counsel to corporations and individuals.
* Larry A. Padilla has been named a senior vice president of First Interstate Bank. Previously, Padilla, who joined the Los Angeles-based bank in 1994, was manager of its Residential Mortgage Division loan servicing department.
Before joining First Interstate, he worked in the real estate division of Great Western Bank and First Nationwide Bank.
