Clothestime Posts $3.6-Million 2nd-Quarter Loss
Clothestime Inc., an Anaheim women’s apparel retailer, reported a second-quarter net loss of $3.6 million, or 25 cents a share, contrasted with a profit of $3.7 million, or 25 cents a share, for the like period last year. Sales for the quarter ended July 30 were up to $93.4 million from $92.7 million. For the first six months of fiscal 1994, the company recorded a net loss of $2.9 million, or 20 cents a share. That contrasts with a profit of $4.9 million, or 34 cents a share, for the first half last year. Sales increased to $177 million from $171 million.
