Public Invited to CLAS Tests Meeting
Ventura County residents interested in hearing county educators discuss the pros and cons of the California Learning Assessment System will be able to attend a meeting on the exams tonight in Camarillo.
The Ventura County superintendent of schools’ office is sponsoring the event from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at its conference center at Camarillo Airport.
The meeting is scheduled to include presentations by county school board member Wendy Larner and Conejo Valley school board member Mildred Lynch on their reasons for opposing the CLAS tests.
The county superintendent’s office has also invited superintendents from throughout the county to the meeting.
