Adm. Crowe OKd as Envoy

WASHINGTON — Retired Adm. William J. Crowe, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has won Senate approval to be ambassador to Britain. Approval came Thursday on a voice vote with no opposition expressed on the floor.
