Downtown : Workshop Focuses on Managing Money
Free money-management workshops focusing on how to buy a car and improve budgeting skills will be offered this week by the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Los Angeles, a nonprofit agency that helps people who have financial problems.
The workshop on purchasing a car will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday on the third floor of the Consumer Credit Counseling Service building, 1308 W. 8th St.
“Making Cents,” a workshop on developing a personal spending plan and improving budgeting skills, will be offered from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. every Saturday through the end of May, on the fourth floor of the counseling service building. The May 28 session will be conducted in Spanish.
