O.C. Surfers Advance in Team Challenge
Pat O’Connell of Laguna Niguel, Shane Beschen of San Clemente and Jeff Deffenbaugh of Huntington Beach advanced Friday through the first round of the Katin Team Challenge on the north side of the Huntington Beach Pier.
The trio advance to today’s second round of individual qualifying. The tag-team and individual finals will be Sunday.
