Routson, Sloan Qualify for Diving Nationals

Mission Viejo’s Tyce Routson and Amy Sloan qualified for the this year’s national springboard diving competition at the Senior preliminary Zone B meet Friday at the Marguerite Recreation Center in Mission Viejo.

Routson took third, scoring 500.30 in three-meter competition. Sloan finished fourth with a score of 377.20. Only the top four competitors in each event go to nationals.

Upland’s David Fleck won the men’s competition with a score of 527.90. Jennifer Lin Koski won the women’s competition with a score of 405.90.
