Last year it was Michael Jackson, this year was a salute to country and western music. The show left spotlight critics singularly unimpressed and wishing we were watching a rerun of the World Cup Draw show in Las Vegas. James Brown comes cheap these days and he lives in the area.

But most of all, we are left with questions.

--Doesn’t Tanya Tucker look like Hillary Rodham Clinton?

--What happens to all that smoke when you’re inside a domed stadium?

--Does the Georgia Dome have a flue like your chimney?

--If Stevie Wonder was on the stage, why didn’t they let him sing by himself?

--Why does the NFL spend all that money when all people really want is a chance to go to the bathroom?
