OUTLOOK
St. Margaret’s was undefeated in league play at 6-0 last season, and it looks as if the Tartans should repeat as league champions this season. Led by Heydenrych, who was Academy League co-player of the year, St. Margaret’s has lost only one player from that team. “We should be strong this year,” said Lock, the sixth-year coach. “If we can come up with a consistent scorer, we could advance to the third round of the playoffs.” Though Lock might sound a little cocky, he has every right to be. Along with Heydenrych, the Tartans have a group of talented guards, including Bevill, who was a first-team all-league selection, and Keil and Trette, who made the second team. Lock also said he’s looking for good things from Dane, a transfer from Ohio, where she was a guard.
