Fortune Petroleum Shows 6-Month Loss
Fortune Petroleum Corp., an Agoura Hills energy concern, reported a $119,000 loss for the latest six months, contrasted with a $52,000 profit a year earlier.
Fortune’s revenue for the first half of this year was $965,000, slightly below the $985,000 in revenue in the six months that ended June 30, 1992. Fortune did not break out its second-quarter results.
The company also said it hoped to complete its proposed acquisition of natural gas leasehold interests in Webb County, Tex., on Aug. 30, a deal that could significantly expand Fortune’s operations.
