World IN BRIEF : BRITAIN : Suspect in Serial Killings Is Held

A suspect in the serial killings of homosexuals was ordered held without bail in London for allegedly murdering five men. Colin Ireland, who was charged last month with the murders of four Britons and Perry Bradley III, a Texas businessman who lived in London, was ordered held until Aug. 28 pending further investigation. Police say they have no evidence that Bradley, 35, was gay. But he has been linked to the other victims because of the way he died. Ireland reportedly has denied the murders.
