Commerce : Health Fair to Offer Free Immunizations, Testing
A community health fair will offer free immunizations for children and a variety of medical tests for all ages from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kathryn Pahl Community Center.
Shots for children protect against polio, diphtheria, measles and other diseases. Adults can be tested for high blood pressure, glaucoma and other medical conditions at no charge. Free dental exams will also be available.
Blood tests for heart disease, diabetes and stroke potential will be offered at a low cost. Visitors interested in taking a blood test should not eat after the previous midnight.
The community center is in Rosewood Park, 5600 Harbor St.
