MOORPARK : Forums Scheduled on Subdivision Plan
A developer planning to build 3,000 homes on roughly 4,000 acres northeast of Moorpark has scheduled two public forums to discuss the project with area residents.
The Irvine-based Messenger Investment Co. is working on plans it hopes to submit for City Council approval as early as October, said Gary Austin, vice president.
Austin said the public meetings, scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 14 and 28 at Moorpark College, will give residents a chance to review preliminary plans and suggest changes.
The meetings will be held in room 100 of the college’s humanities and social science building. Moorpark Mayor Paul Lawrason said he hopes residents take advantage of the opportunity to become a part of the planning process.
