Costa Mesa 72, Garden Grove Rancho Alamitos 55--Senior forward Olivia Dicamilli scored a game-high 27 points and had a team-high 13 rebounds to lead the Mustangs (27-4) to the Southern Section III-A championship at Loyola Marymount.
Heather Robinson, a junior guard, had 16 points and Neiar Kabua, a senior forward, had 15 for Costa Mesa.
Junior forward Akilah Rodgers led the Vaqueros (24-5) with 23 points and 15 rebounds.
Last year, Costa Mesa lost in the III-A final to Rancho Alamitos.
