The International Olympic Committee said that it will hold formal negotiations in July with U.S. networks on bids for the 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta.
IOC President Juan Antonio Samaranch said last month that the U.S. TV rights for the Atlanta Games will cost more than the $401 million NBC paid for the 1992 Barcelona Games.
