AIDS Quilt: Eight 12-by-12-foot sections of the AIDS memorial quilt are on display through this weekend in the Grand Hall of the Music Center Pavilion. The quilt is being exhibited in conjunction with the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s performances of John Corigliano’s Symphony No. 1, which was inspired by the quilt and is the composer’s tribute to friends and colleagues who have died of AIDS.
