Over the Rainbow: The blue-and-white gingham dress worn by Judy Garland in “The Wizard of Oz” brought a hefty $48,400 at Sotheby’s auction house in New York on Friday. Other items at the auction: a Jimi Hendrix velvet vest that sold for $19,800, an original Beatles drum-skin cover that brought in $17,600, and a lamp from “Casablanca” that went for $12,100.
