I am a hearty eater of beef and pork chorizo; in fact, the greasier, the better I like it. So what if it hardens my arteries? One thing for sure is, I’m going to die anyway, so why not live a little? So here comes along this guy, George Ramos, touting a low-cholesterol, low-calorie, 85% fat-free chorizo? Is there not anything sacred anymore? Leave my greasy spoon stuff alone! Gee whiz, I can’t even die in peace anymore!

Incidentally, my father is 93 years old and is prohibited by diet to eat the foods that I enjoy so much. Well, thanks to Ramos and the lady from Vernon who created this new health-food chorizo, my father can once again join me for breakfast.
