Adults Teach ‘Art’ of Lying
What I find lacking in the article is the students’ own explanation of why they are willing to lie to get a job.
My guess is they would say something like:
“Many of my friends and colleagues are doing it; there is great competition for the jobs; I could be battling for my whole future; why should somebody who is no better than me get the job by telling a lie?”
Competition is more fierce today than ever before, and possession of material things counts overwhelmingly with the young today.
