Child Support and Fathers
Deadbeat dads? C’mon let’s be fair--or at least consistent. Men wouldn’t need to flee the state to escape parental responsibility if only they were afforded equal rights with women.
That’s right! At least after conception, a woman still has a decision. She may choose against parenthood--and often does. She has a legal right to choose. Her male friend, however, possesses no such right. He has no legal authority in this matter. Thus, his will and even his future are subject to her decision. His choice against fatherhood is rendered invalid by her choice for motherhood.
Why then should he be legally bound to any financial obligations? Look, if women are to have sole authority in this important decision, shouldn’t they also accept sole responsibility?
