E. San Gabriel Valley : Candidates to Be Interviewed
In an unusual move to focus attention on elections in the Three Valleys Municipal Water District, five mayors and several local water board leaders have scheduled a meeting tonight to interview candidates vying for four positions on the seven-member panel.
Three Valleys is responsible for importing water to supplement the local ground-water supply in the eastern San Gabriel Valley.
Although the public will not be allowed to ask questions or make comments, the 7 p.m. meeting at the La Verne Community Center, 3680 D St., will be open.
