Delphi Reports $318,000 Profit in 1st Quarter
Delphi Information Systems Inc., a Westlake Village company that markets computer systems to insurance brokers and agents, earned $318,000 in its first quarter ended June 30, in contrast with a year-earlier loss of $660,000. The company attributed the turnaround to increased sales to large brokers and lower costs.
Its revenue totaled $13.6 million, up 62% from $8.41 million a year earlier.
In December, 1991, Delphi acquired Redshaw Inc., a Pittsburgh-based provider of computer software and automation systems for independent property-casualty insurance agents and brokers.
