Partnership Buys 8% of Stock in Photonix

An Iowa partnership has purchased an 8% interest in Advanced Photonix, a Camarillo maker of photodetector devices that convert light into electronic signals, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

The filing said Edgewater Private Equity Fund L.P. of Des Moines bought 216,670 shares of Advanced Photonix’s common shares. Edgewater bought the stock between June 25 and July 8 as an investment, according to the SEC filing.
