I see that Reichl has almost accomplished a goal close to my heart--that of keeping her elitist Westside faux food-culture opinions out of the San Fernando Valley.

With a few exceptions, she has ignored the places where real people go to eat real food at real prices.

I look forward to next year when, I hope, the Valley will be totally ignored.
