San Gabriel Mts. : Forums on Forest Use
In separate workshops dealing with the Angeles National Forest, the U.S. Forest Service is soliciting public opinion on the management of wilderness areas and the development of an off-highway-vehicles trail.
The workshop on the San Gabriel and Sheep Mountain wilderness areas will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday in Wrightwood at the Old Fire House, 6000 Cedar St. This will be the first of four such wilderness workshops this month.
Forums on the off-highway-vehicles trail in the Arroyo Seco and Tujunga districts of the forest are scheduled from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The meetings will be at the Arroyo Seco District’s Oak Grove Ranger Station in Pasadena, 4600 Oak Grove Drive.
