Vietnam to Return Remains From Crashes

WASHINGTON — Vietnam will return several human remains recovered at sites where U.S. aircraft crashed during the Vietnam War, the Pentagon said.
The remains were discovered during the 17th round of joint excavation by U.S. and Vietnamese officials. Vietnamese citizens also provided additional remains, according to the Defense Department.
The Pentagon provided no specifics on the number of remains.
