SAN YSIDRO : 2 Shot in Car by Teens on Street
A couple was wounded early Saturday morning when two men fired at their vehicle while they drove on Picador Boulevard in San Ysidro, police said. Jaime Navarro and Jennifer Longstreth, both 19, were reported in stable condition at UCSD Medical Center recovering from bullet wounds.
Police said the couple was driving south near the 900 block of Picador Boulevard at 12:26 a.m. when two teen-age males walking along the street fired several shots at their car.
Navarro was shot in the torso and left ankle, and Longstreth was shot in the lower back, police said. Investigators said they have no motive for the shooting and the gunmen remain unidentified.
