LAPD’s Response to the Riot
I have no sympathies for looters and arsonists, but was it really necessary for the police to force these people to lie face down in a puddle of dirty water (photo, May 1)? There was plenty of dry ground surrounding them; the police were standing on it.
Nothing will change until attitudes do.
