DANA POINT : City Commission Posts to Be Filled
Applications are being accepted at City Hall for appointments to seven seats on the city’s planning, traffic improvement and cultural commissions.
Many of the commissioners may seek reappointment to their four-year terms, which expire in June. The City Council will interview all applicants and appoint commissioners to new terms.
Expiring commission seats include:
* Planning Commission: Two full terms to fill the seats occupied by Carlos Olvera and William Ossenmacher.
* Traffic Improvement Commission: Two full terms to fill the seats occupied by Robert Anderson and Dennis Vlach, and a two-year term to fill the unexpired term of John Bates, who resigned.
* Cultural Commission: Two full terms to fill seats occupied by Matt Ehrhart and Sherman Plepler.
The deadline for all applications is June 5.
