St. Anthony Student Lauded for Poster
Stella Mejia of St. Anthony School in San Gabriel is one of five Southern California winners in the state Department of Conservation recycle week poster contest.
The department received 1,300 entries from seventh- and eighth-graders statewide.
Stella won a $200 savings bond and her school a collection of books and videos on waste management and conservation.
