County Pensions
In response to “Pension Changes Could Cost Taxpayers Millions,” Feb. 23:
With the exception of freshman Supervisor Gloria Molina, the rest of the Board of Supervisors are clearly out of touch with the society they supposedly represent. Supervisor Deane Dana says pension increases are necessary to attract and retain good managers. On the contrary, large pensions, perks and lavish fringe benefits attract some of the worst elements in our society--selfish, power-hungry individuals who are only interested in feeding off the public trough! Vote the bums out!
