Canoga Park Woman Dies After Car Crash
A Canoga Park woman died Tuesday morning from injuries she received when her car collided with another vehicle and then struck a telephone pole, Los Angeles police said.
The 67-year-old woman, whose name was withheld until relatives could be notified, was pronounced dead at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, Sgt. Paul Modell said.
The woman was driving east in the 21200 block of Roscoe Boulevard about 7:45 a.m. when another car turned left into her path and she had no time to react, Modell said. Her car struck the second vehicle and continued into the telephone pole.
No one in the second vehicle was injured, police said.
