Golden West Women Win Volleyball Title
Golden West College, the top-ranked women’s volleyball team in the state, swept Cuesta, 3-0, Sunday in the championship match of the Santa Barbara Tournament of Champions.
Brenda Irby, who was selected the tournament’s most valuable player, had 17 kills in the Rustlers’ 15-12, 15-4, 15-4 victory.
