NEA Briefing: Rep. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) will hold an open briefing today on the impact of changes in laws relating to the National Endowment for the Arts at L.A.’s Museum of Contemporary Art, starting at 9:30 a.m. Boxer, who chairs the House subcommittee that oversees the NEA, will be joined at the meeting by Mark Taper Forum director Gordon Davidson, Los Angeles Philharmonic director Ernest Fleischmann and other members of the local arts community.
