Gretzky, Lindros Help Canada Down U.S., 6-3

Wayne Gretzky had a goal and three assists and Eric Lindros scored the first of five consecutive goals for Canada, which beat the United States, 6-3, Monday night in the Canada Cup hockey tournament at Hamilton, Canada.
The Canadians, held to a 2-2 tie by Finland in their tournament opener, took a 3-0 lead in the first period and stretched it to 5-0.
Craig Janney of the Boston Bruins scored twice for Team USA. The Americans also had two goals disallowed because they came after a whistle stopped play.
