San Diego
A 39-year-old woman who may have been strangled was found dead Monday morning in her bedroom in Southeast San Diego, police said.
The woman’s name has not been released, pending notification of relatives.
She was found about 8:30 a.m. in her night clothes on the bedroom floor by an elderly man who owns the house in the 5000 block of Geneva Avenue, Police Lt. Dan Berglund said. She had last been seen about 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Berglund said.
Marks on her neck indicate that she may have been strangled with some kind of a cord, Berglund said. An autopsy will be performed.
