BOSS SOUNDS: Columbia Records insists it still doesn’t have an official release date, but insiders are saying Bruce Springsteen’s new solo album could be out as early as September. The record has a dozen new songs, among them “The Real World,” “57 Channels,” “Just Another Roll of the Dice,” “Soul Driver” and “Lovin’ You’s a Man’s Job.” Musicians on the project include E Street Band mainstay Roy Bittan, Little Feat keyboardist Billy Payne and drummer Jeff Porcaro.
