Man Who Shot at 2 Park Guards Is Sought
ANAHEIM — Police are looking for a man who shot at two Disneyland security guards Sunday night and then led police on a chase to Corona.
No one was hurt during the shooting, which happened shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday at an employee entrance to the amusement park. But the guards told police that the man had tried to argue his way into the park and, when that failed, had drawn a handgun and fired several times at them, Anaheim Police Sgt. Jim Moore said.
The gunman then ran across Harbor Boulevard to Manchester Avenue where he stopped a driver and took his car at gunpoint, Moore said.
Officers spotted the stolen car on the Riverside Freeway, but lost sight of the car shortly thereafter, Moore said.
