From Associated Press
PHOENIX — A federal court jury Thursday rejected Go-Video Inc.’s contention that three Japanese consumer electronics firms conspired to prevent it from introducing a dual-deck videocassette recorder.
The six-member panel deliberated about 2 1/2 hours before finding in favor of Sony Corp., Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. and Victor Co.
Tiny Go-Video had maintained that the Japanese companies had refused to lend it manufacturing capabilities because they didn’t want additional competition.
