Trail Canyon Trail to Be Reconstructed
The U.S. Forest Service has announced plans to reconstruct the Trail Canyon Trail linking Big Tujunga Canyon and the Mt. Gleason area of the Angeles National Forest.
The 10.6-mile trail will be rebuilt to bring it “up to standards for the safety and enjoyment of hikers and horseback riders,” said Tujunga District Ranger Clara Johnson.
Work is scheduled to begin this month. Forest Service officials said written comments on the project should be addressed to Carol Adkins, USDA Forest Service, 12371 N. Little Tujunga Road, San Fernando 91342.
