NO HURRY: The Santa Ana City Council...

NO HURRY: The Santa Ana City Council appears to be giving up on split meetings. The council now meets at 4 p.m., breaks and comes back at 7:30. The latest wisdom is to just hold one meeting, starting at 6 p.m. . . . The later start will allow more people to attend or at least get home in time to watch the riveting doings on cable television. The scheduled 4 p.m. start has been a bit misleading, though. Most meetings don’t get started until closer to 5 p.m.
