FileNet Corp.: The Costa Mesa maker of document processing systems said Monday that it expects to report net income of $1.5 million for the first quarter ended March 31, up 15% from $1.3 million in the corresponding year-earlier period. The company said it anticipates revenue of $27.5 million for the quarter, up 16% from $23.8 million a year earlier. The company expects to report final results before April 22. “In light of the current negative economic environment, we were pleased with the results for the quarter,” said Ted Smith, president and chief executive.
