Conrad on Friendly Fire

Only four words need be added to Conrad’s Feb. 7 cartoon (depicting bomb damage in the Iraq War) to finish off the caption: “It became necessary to destroy the country to save it so that we can rebuild it” in our own image .

That is the bottom line of what our President calls a just war. Just, it may be; justified, it is not.
