M-3 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle
The Bradley, an armored personnel carrier with a crew of three, will play a key role in any action against Iraqi ground forces. It also carries seven fully equipped infantrymen. The Bradley is armed with cannons and TOW missiles--which can damage enemy armor at a distance of 3,000 yards and is fully amphibious. Maximum speed is about 42 m.p.h. on land and 5.6 m.p.h. in water. An estimated 600 Bradley vehicles are in the Middle East.
