ORANGE : Victim of Robber Dies of Gun Wounds
A Corona man who was shot several times in the head and upper body over the weekend has died, police said.
Eric Raymond Silva, 26, was pronounced dead Tuesday at UCI Medical Center in Orange.
Silva apparently had just parked at a commercial complex at 3650 E. Mira Loma Ave. early Saturday morning when a man tried to take his wallet, police said. Silva resisted and was shot several times.
Silva staggered about 200 yards to the intersection of Tustin and Mira Loma avenues and flagged down a motorist. No arrests have been made.
