THE REAL THING: As Christmas greetings go, the card sent by Irvine’s R. L. Couch & Co. is definitely “contemporary.” . . . It features a photo of Milli Vanilli, the two pop singers stripped of their Grammy award because they didn’t sing a note on their best-selling album. When you pull the center tab, the singers stick out their tongues to reveal the words, “Happy Holidays. . . .” Inside, it reads: “No one had to put these words in our mouths.”
